How to play
Each game explained in a couple of minutes, plus three longer guides for the moments you get stuck.
Guides
- Touch and keys: controlling the games wellHow swipes, taps and keys work in Creek Snake, Pond Pop and Gumnut Merge, and which settings make each game easier to control.
- Bank shots in Pond PopHow wall bounces work in Pond Pop, when a bank shot beats a straight one, and how to cut whole clusters loose for double points.
- The corner method for Gumnut MergeA calm, reliable plan for Gumnut Merge: one home corner, a falling chain of tiles along an edge and only two main directions.
Rules in brief
Creek Snake
The snake moves on its own; you only choose where it turns. Each fruit makes it two segments longer and adds to your score. Eat the number of fruit shown under the stage counter and the stage is cleared: the snake is set back to its starting lane, a new rock layout appears and the pace rises a little.
Pond Pop
Bubbles hang from the top of the board in an offset honeycomb. You shoot one bubble at a time from the launcher at the bottom; when it touches the ceiling or another bubble, it settles into the nearest free cell.
Gumnut Merge
Each swipe or arrow key moves every tile as far as it can go in that direction. When two tiles with the same number meet, they join into one tile carrying their sum, and the sum is added to your score. A tile joins only once per move, so a row of 2, 2, 2, 2 becomes 4, 4 rather than 8.
